Abstract

Think “single,” and perhaps the words “unfettered” and “carefree” come to mind. But from a nutrition standpoint, “single,” which covers all 73 million Americans who live by themselves—either because they have never been married or are divorced or widowed—means a heightened risk for poor nutrition.
