Abstract

You pass on using the shaker at the table and use a variety of herbs and spices in place of salt when you cook. Can you still be getting too much of the white stuff?

Correction to original article: In the original article, the word “grams” was twice mistakenly used in place of “milligrams.” The NHBPEP recommends a maximum of 2,400 milligrams of sodium daily; federal dietary guidelines call for no more than 2,300 milligrams.
